Van Long is a legendary land and an amazingly beautiful landscape for tourism, while at the same time, the largest mangrove nature reserve in northern delta, Ninh Binh province. Van Long reserve is on area of 2,643 hectares in seven communes of Gia Vien district. In the Van Long forest, there are 457 species of plants, eight of which are listed in Vietnam’s Red Book. There are 39 species of animals, including nine precious species such as languor, Tibetan bear, chamois, Loris, and red-face monkey. There are nine reptiles listed in Vietnam’s Red Book such as grass-snake, varan, slow and harmless boas, and gecko.
8:00 AM Pick up from your Hotel. Leave to Kenh Ga, then have a boat trip to cruise along Hoang Long river (that means the Dragon river), watching beautiful shaped limestone formation, rice paddies to visit the floating village Kenh Ga (Chicken Canals-see lonely page). Enjoy the life and activities on the river that you can image like water puppet show in the theatre. Visit Hot mineral-Spring (Natural stream). then move to Tam Coc by car. Lunch at local restaurant.
Take an exciting boat ride in Tam Coc grottoes(Halong bay inland) that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains peaking up towers over you(2 hrs).
Transfer back to Hanoi. Drop off at your Hotel at about 19:00 PM
